Service Desk Consultant – Johannesburg

Pulse SA is pleased to announce an exciting opening for a Service Desk Consultant in our Johannesburg office.

Responsibilities include first-line support, determining urgency of work for service level agreements, customer management, software setup, acceptance testing, planning and creation of training manuals and videos, and other duties with a continual view to increasing customer satisfaction.

The position is well suited for a junior candidate looking for an entry into the software service desk environment.

We are looking for the following attributes:

  • Excellent verbal and written English abilities.
  • Computer literacy in all common programs
  • Professional outlook and the ability to quickly acquire new skills
  • Dynamic and proactive personality

Knowledge of a second language and experience working in a service environment will be advantageous.

Full training on all modules within Pulse Business Software will be provided.

This is a client-facing position and as such work hours are strict. Dress code is smart-casual.

Opportunities for growth may include more client interaction to drive implementations, contact centre management, service management, implementation of Pulse solutions and project management.
