Pulse 11.07 Release Notes

Outside Escalation.
Automation of Outside Escalation using web-service calls. Where two Pulse sites are configured to interact using automated Outside Escalation, they the service requester would automatically log service requests in the service provider. Requires some setup by Pulse, as well as approval from both clients.

Scheduler
Scheduler to show consistent recurrent appointment page
Scheduler. New fields on the event that now store the date and time and user that has created the Event.
Prior e-mail notification of scheduled event.

Service Request Billing
Allow linking of Response Type to Catalogue Item in Response Type Setup (this relates to SR Billing)

Sales order
Sales price group display to display all items in a sales price
Sales order – Copying the delivery client. The facility to copy to all, or to copy to a specified (checked) subset of lines

Opportunity changes
1. On first adding opportunity, instead of making Payment Dates invisible, show green text saying (Save Opportunity to add Payment Dates)
2. Read-only boxes on opportunity update page to be grey
3. Make Total Contract value and Cost read-only when adding, thus preventing user from adding before payment dates are populated.
4. Add mandatory/not mandatory functionality for the estimated cost box
(config lOpportunityCostMandatory )
5. Mandatory configs (lOpportunityEstimatedValueMandatory and lOpportunityCostMandatory (new)) to be overridden when payment dates are used
Opportunity. Allow multiple copying of payment date lines. Allow the user to specify how many copies are to be made.
Allow hiding of Monthly Value Estimate

Allow more control of display, using client.listview

Front Page Opportunity Dashlets (lists).
Allow sorting and filtering on all fields

Catalogue Item maintenance
When editing options on a Catalogue Item, Options fields to be editable after the item has been linked. To allow QTY, opt in, manditory status to be altered after the item has been linked.
Quotation. Minimum margin for the logged in consultant. If the quote margin is less than the consultant’s minimum margin, the quote cannot be approved.

Quotation Changes
Quotation. For certain consultants, only allow selection of catalogue items for which the client has a specific sales price.
Prevent quote when client on credit hold
Only allow Sales Order from latest revision of quotation
Allow removal of discount column
Prevent Approval if a POA field is not populated
Show margin column
Catalogue Item filter to remember the last filter criteria used in the same quotation and session
Allow the user to e-mail himself or the customer the quotation as a PDF attachment. Allow the user to e-mail himself the cost model as an Excel attachment

Systems
Allow systems to have a ‘parent’ system, which is another system at the same site to which they are linked as a ‘child’. This enables grouping of systems
Systems Creation at Sites. Allow the creation of one or more Goods Received Notes from a Sales Order. The GRNs must create the systems at the sites when they are delivered or are provisioned. The way it knows that it is delivered or provisioned is that the user specifies a serial number for that device.

Catalogue Item Maintenance.
Allow the user to add the same catalogue item as an option more than once. This is necessary for primary and secondary options, such as ADSL lines and backup ADSL lines, where the catalogue item is the same, but there are two.
